Port Wine Magnolias - This acrylic on canvas painting was a labour of love. I had not been painting long in acrylics when I started this painting. I love magnolias but it was quite a challenge to get the blending right with the light colours blending into the dark port wine reds. I spent a lot of weeks painting this one. I had also not tackled anything this big so to persevere with this was quite an achievement.
